I have a huge pile of physics assignments, and this calculator helps me get through the most tedious calculations much faster. I love that I can directly check units and physical constants, which saves me a ton of time searching online.
SigmaCalc - engineering calculator with Wolfram Alpha and LTE
A calculator that explains, not just computes. An ordinary, fast calculator day to day. Enter your PIN and it opens a panel with Wolfram Alpha, messages and a memory card - without reaching for your phone.
The full solution, not just the answer
Type an equation and SigmaCalc reaches Wolfram Alpha over its own LTE modem, then shows the whole path: alternate form, roots, a plot and every intermediate step. You see why the answer is what it is - the difference between finishing homework and understanding the subject.
A keypad that changes with the screen
The on-screen keyboard mirrors the physical one underneath. A single key handles digits, letters and functions - you switch layers with fun and swap, and send submits the question.
Its own LTE, no Wi-Fi needed
A Quectel EG800K Cat-1 modem and six LTE bands. The device works on its own, at school, in a library or on a train. You can also send and receive text messages to stay in touch with home without pulling out a smartphone.
Your data stays yours
The extended panel is protected by a PIN you set yourself. Notes, formulas and messages on the microSD card are not available to anyone who simply picks the calculator up.
Three interface languages
Polish, English and German, switchable in Settings at any time. That is also where you adjust display brightness and contrast, and check battery level and GSM signal strength.
Designed and assembled in Poland
SigmaCalc is built in Kraków. Every unit carries a plate on the back with its serial number and hardware revision. Under the service cover you will find the USB-C port, nanoSIM and microSD slots and a RESET button - no need to open the case.

FAQ
Good to know before you buy
Does SigmaCalc need a phone to work?
No. The device has its own LTE modem and connects to the internet on its own. You don't need a phone for calculations, for Wolfram Alpha or for messages.
Do I need my own SIM card?
Yes. SigmaCalc takes a nanoSIM card, which you insert under the service cover. No SIM card or data plan is included - you choose the carrier and plan yourself.
What is Sigma Mode and how do I turn it on?
Day to day, the device behaves like an ordinary calculator. Entering the PIN opens a hidden menu with Wolfram Alpha, text messages and the memory card.
The factory PIN is 12345 and you can change it in the device settings. You can try it in the demo above - it works exactly like the hardware.
Can I use SigmaCalc in an exam?
Only the exam organiser decides which calculators are allowed. SigmaCalc has an LTE modem and connectivity features, and many exam rules exclude devices with internet access.
Check the exam rules beforehand. The candidate is responsible for making sure the device is allowed in the exam room.
How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?
Shipping is free worldwide. We usually dispatch orders within 1-2 business days. For deliveries outside the European Union, the recipient may have to pay customs charges.

Yes, but only within Poland. Renting for 3 days costs PLN 600, for 7 days PLN 1,000 and for 14 days PLN 1,500. The refundable deposit is PLN 1,000. If you decide to buy after returning the device, we deduct half of the rental fee from the price of the calculator. You'll find the details in the rental section.
What is the warranty and what about updates?
The product comes with a 12-month warranty, and as a consumer you also have 2 years of statutory liability for defects. Software updates are free and we provide them for at least 2 years from purchase.
Is the device legal and tested?
Yes. SigmaCalc is covered by EU Declaration of Conformity no. 01/2026 under the RED 2014/53/EU and RoHS directives. Electromagnetic compatibility testing was carried out at the Central Laboratory of the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) in Poznań. The device is designed and assembled in Poland.
