Good to know before you buy
Does SigmaCalc need a phone to work?
No. The device has its own LTE modem and connects to the internet on its own. You don't need a phone for calculations, for Wolfram Alpha or for messages.
Do I need my own SIM card?
Yes. SigmaCalc takes a nanoSIM card, which you insert under the service cover. No SIM card or data plan is included - you choose the carrier and plan yourself.
What is Sigma Mode and how do I turn it on?
Day to day, the device behaves like an ordinary calculator. Entering the PIN opens a hidden menu with Wolfram Alpha, text messages and the memory card.
The factory PIN is 12345 and you can change it in the device settings. You can try it in the demo above - it works exactly like the hardware.
Can I use SigmaCalc in an exam?
Only the exam organiser decides which calculators are allowed. SigmaCalc has an LTE modem and connectivity features, and many exam rules exclude devices with internet access.
Check the exam rules beforehand. The candidate is responsible for making sure the device is allowed in the exam room.
How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?
Shipping is free worldwide. We usually dispatch orders within 1-2 business days. For deliveries outside the European Union, the recipient may have to pay customs charges.
Can I rent SigmaCalc before buying?
Yes, but only within Poland. Renting for 3 days costs PLN 600, for 7 days PLN 1,000 and for 14 days PLN 1,500. The refundable deposit is PLN 1,000. If you decide to buy after returning the device, we deduct half of the rental fee from the price of the calculator. You'll find the details in the rental section.
What is the warranty and what about updates?
The product comes with a 12-month warranty, and as a consumer you also have 2 years of statutory liability for defects. Software updates are free and we provide them for at least 2 years from purchase.
Is the device legal and tested?
Yes. SigmaCalc is covered by EU Declaration of Conformity no. 01/2026 under the RED 2014/53/EU and RoHS directives. Electromagnetic compatibility testing was carried out at the Central Laboratory of the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) in Poznań. The device is designed and assembled in Poland.

Try it before you buy
Rent SigmaCalc for 3, 7 or 14 days. The longer you rent, the less you pay per day. If you then decide to buy, we deduct half of the rental fee from the price of the calculator. Rental is available only within Poland.
- From 3 days - the minimum rental period.
- The longer, the cheaper - 14 days costs less than two 7-day rentals.
- Half comes back as a discount off the calculator's price when you decide to buy.
- PLN 1,000 deposit returned once the working device has been sent back.
- Your own nanoSIM card - you insert your own and pay only for the device rental.
- Poland only - rental is available only within the territory of Poland, with courier delivery and pickup inside the country.

Rental is available only within the territory of Poland - we do not send rental devices abroad. The minimum rental period is 3 days. Refundable deposit of PLN 1,000, returned once the working device has been sent back. If you buy SigmaCalc after returning it, 50% of the rental fee is deducted from the price. The renter provides their own nanoSIM card.
